The annual players dinner was held at Rockcliff last friday, and a number of awards were presented to players and committee members.

Chariman Scott Carruthers presented the Clubman of the year Award to Noel and Neil Mather, and thanked them for their years of unstinting service to the club.

Retiring club captain Sam Stirling recapped on a season that saw the 1st team stamp their authority on Durham and Northumberland 2 league, in this their first season in the league.

The first team player of the year award went to Ian Ramsey, and most improved player was Karl Briggs. First team ties, given in honour of playing more than 10 league games in the season, were awarded to Rikki Briggs and Rory Jennings.

The second team player of the year award went to Simon Lea, and the most improved player was Ian Whitworth.
